Ingredients
  

Basic Omelet

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk or water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cooking spray or butter for greasing

Optional Fillings

  • 2 tbsp shredded cheese any variety
  • 2 tbsp diced ham or cooked bacon
  • 2 tbsp chopped bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp diced onion
  • 2 tbsp spinach fresh or sautéed
  • 2 tbsp diced tomatoes optional
  • 2 tbsp sautéed mushrooms

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Crack the eggs into a bowl and add the milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Beat with a fork or whisk until just combined.
  • Grease a heat-safe dish or ramekin with cooking spray or butter.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the prepared dish.
  • Add your choice of fillings evenly across the top.
  • Place the dish into the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes until the omelet is puffed and set.
  • Remove carefully and let it sit for 1 minute before serving.

Notes

Start checking the omelet at 6 minutes to avoid overcooking. Pre-cook any meat or dense veggies before adding. Try different combinations like feta and spinach or pepper jack and jalapeños!
